The home's simple horizontal form hovers lightly above a rugged hillside, framing views of the surrounding woodland while minimizing disturbance to the site's existing topography.

Natural cypress cladding, charred wood detailing, and expansive floor-to-ceiling glazing create a warm yet contemporary architectural expression. The restrained material palette allows the cabin to blend seamlessly into its surroundings, where changing light, seasonal colors, and long mountain vistas become part of the living experience.

At the heart of the design is a deep covered terrace that functions as an outdoor extension of the home, creating a seamless transition between interior and exterior spaces. Thoughtfully scaled and carefully detailed, the cabin balances modern simplicity with the warmth and comfort expected of a mountain retreat.
