Our relationships with artists and crafts people across the Americas are part of what inspired us to start NANAI. We believe their artistry and knowledge deserve to be celebrated and preserved.

Made with nanai

We work directly with every artisan who creates textiles and ceramics for NANAI's shop. They set their own prices, and we stay in close communication throughout the design and production process. We also carefully vet the materials our artisans use to ensure they are natural and non-toxic for the wellbeing of our collaborators and our customers alike.

Why it matters

NANAI's aesthetic is distinctly modern, but we believe ancestral craft traditions are timeless. They represent thousands of years of human creativity and ingenuity, and the objects they produce carry that history with them.

That's the standard we hold ourselves to: objects carefully made to last, from natural materials, by skilled hands. Luxury, to us, means things worth keeping.
