Melipilla, Chile

This project began as a dream for a weekend retreat, and it evolved into a full-time residence. The 1,500-square-foot home is organized as a simple U-shaped volume set within a rural landscape of tall native grasses.

The layout includes three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and an open kitchen, living, and dining area organized around a central courtyard. Natural materials enhance the relationship between interior and exterior spaces, while a covered patio extends the living area outward, creating a quiet setting for gathering and reflection.
